Taylor-Smith commented: “I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know some of the Gwynedd team over the last couple of seasons due to my partnership with Briggs Equipment. In fact, they’ve been a bit of a thorn in my side at our annual charity kart race each year, so it’s somewhat nice to know that finally we will be on the same team! I really can’t thank everyone at Gwynedd enough for the support as it truly makes a difference, and I genuinely can’t wait to have them trackside for the first race.”

The 2024 season is really taking shape for Taylor-Smith as he re-signed with Power Maxed Racing after a superb 2023 season. The 2023 season was certainly a standout year for Taylor-Smith after having signed for Power Maxed Racing prior to the start of the season. Once acclimated within the team, the Irishman became a force to be reckoned with as he constantly challenged for podiums whilst accumulating four independent wins in the second half of the season alone. In a silverware-laden season for the Dubliner, Taylor-Smith also added the affirmation four Independent class victories to a trophy cabinet that already includes four outright race wins and, now, 20 podiums finishes since making his debut back in 2011. The past nine months have certainly marked something of a renaissance for Taylor-Smith’s touring car career, and the focus has already shifted towards making 2024 an even bigger step towards the ultimate goal of championship glory.

Nick Mullins commented: “It has to be said that Aron has picked up a few fans within the company over the past number of seasons and it’s great to be able to support him in an official manner for the opening round of the 2024 season. The team are really looking forward to being trackside and watching Aron put on a show – it’s shaping up to be an exciting season and we’re delighted to be a part of it.”

The start of the 2024 season is fast approaching and the new partnership with Gwynedd Forklifts couldn’t be better timed for Taylor-Smith as the team are in the midst of preseason testing.
