How long does forklift training take?

The length of forklift training depends on your experience level and the type of course required. Novice operators typically require longer training than experienced operators or those attending refresher courses. Contact our team for guidance on the most suitable course duration for your need.

No, previous experience is not required. We offer forklift training for complete beginners, experienced operators and those requiring refresher training. Our instructors will tailor the training to your current skill level.

Upon successful completion of your training, you will receive an industry-recognised forklift qualification. The certification awarded will depend on the course undertaken and enables operators to demonstrate their competency in operating forklift trucks safely.

Although there is no fixed expiry date for forklift certification, refresher training is generally recommended every three to five years. Additional training may also be required if operators have been involved in an incident, are using unfamiliar equipment, or have not operated a forklift for an extended period.
